I called the local probate court office and was told that the probate case information is not published in the newspaper by the courts (it is the defendant's responsibility) and that there is no way to get the information at the courthouse or online.

Our experience has been when you include the labour to install a properly sealed vapour barrier, followed by batt insulation, the difference between the two is <10%.If you are retrofitting an older (Second Empire, Victorian, Edwardian, etc) building where there was likely no insulation (or perhaps newspaper and sawdust), the outer sheeting is live-edge planks and you may be dealing with balloon framing, application of closed cell spray foam will be less expensive and much, much quicker than the labour required to achieve a full sealed vapour barrier with batt (or blown/packed cellulose) insulation.Q: How long does the spray foam process take?
