If you make your life only about chasing money you will eventually end up old, possibly rich, and quite dissatisfied with life.

The only issue is that the new home is not an upgrade over my current one—everything is quite similar.

We're currently working in the business quite a bit right now, but as it grows we'll be hiring to have it fully staffed with passive income to cover our current expense plus more.

I've worked in the SFR space for quite some time, and currently work as COO at Marketplace Homes.

I also believe those deals are quite rare and virtually impossible for someone living in Oregon achieve..

I'm quite familiar with the area but I'm still learning what a good deal is and isn't.

I'm planning on quitting soon, moving back home for a little and taking a few months in between my next job to pursue my first investment.My rough idea for an investing strategy is:  long-term, not necessarily looking for high cashflow (just want to start building equity), quality deals > amt. of doors, Class A/B neighborhoods mainly for low vacancy.
