I'm Trent Kruessel (krEE-sul), a greenhorn real estate investor from Salisbury, MO (55 miles north of Columbia) and I have little to no experience. 

Considering the lack of "investment grade" homes in DC, due to rising prices in neighborhoods such a Columbia Heights, Petworth and Capital Hill; and the saturation of money chasing very few deals, many DC investors are beginning to examine the Baltimore market.

Interstate 95 from Baltimore to Columbia, MD can at times be a 30-60 minute drive...they help take my mind off standing still at times!

I am about to close on two properties, a duplex here in Charleston SC and a Town home in Columbia SC.

Long story short, I went and picked up the flooring I had already paid for in my Prius (my husband had the truck in Greenwood) and unloaded all of it into the house (31 boxes at 23 pounds a box) by myself in Columbia, SC heat (that's hotter than regular SC heat as any South Carolinian can attest). 

I have one recommendation I'll message you on but am also interested in meeting additional GC's and rehab crews here around Columbia!
