In your opinion, do you think taking the approach of building a small workshop about creative financing and the benefits to a PM company would help foster the relationships and build leads?

As part of the education I received I also got a bunch of software subscriptions, some great books, a year paid REIA workshops,  but the biggest thing I received, which has already paid my fee many times over,  was a jumpstart to my network. 

He also as a virtual workshop this weekend for newer note investors.

I made the decision about a week ago to begin real estate investing after my wife and her father attended a guru's workshop and at the end was asked to pay for information that I am confident is available for free.I came across this wonderful resource and love forums for learning new information and receiving/giving help and ideas.

I would love to build a garage/workshop on it.

Always consult a qualified professional.At my investing group's credit workshop today, the instructor made only general statements about how the SCOTUS's recent ruling about the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) impacts individuals.He did state, however, that the bulk of the impact centers on ownership of any debt for which an attempt to collect is being made.His take is that this will focus primarily on third-party collectors who purchase defaulted debt.

As a member, I have been watching BP forums, podcasts, and purchasing and reading materials for over a year; attending local RI workshops since 2014, reading books, and I am at a loss. 

We're looking for at least 4BR, 2BA SFR with space for son to have a decent tool shed/workshop & a decent sized yard for being outdoors + 2 dogs.  

They may want one to use as a workshop/business (auto repair, welding etc).

We've been researching and going to seminars by the gurus and have (2) 3 day workshops coming up.
