Inventory type and volume varies wildly, even within a few miles.BUT, love the low taxes and landlord-friendly laws, and in general, much cheaper properties than Chicago.Good luck!

@Zach Talke If you're considering both Boston, MA and Austin, TX, I'm going to take a wild guess and say weather doesn't matter all that much to you - or maybe you haven't thought that part through.I'm Boston born and have lived in eastern MA all of my life. 

However, the youngest daughter is a wild card and poses an issue when it comes to me receiving it.What are some suggested ways to ensure that the current owner, who wants me to receive the house, is able to successfully edit the ownership to make me the sole owner?

I would have to say this is wildly over complicated.
