If the tech industry continues to be drawn to Pittsburgh and the higher income jobs come to the region then you will likely see a bit of a higher appreciation rate.

For now I have a tech support job with a Connecticut manufacturer that involves being in a cubicle a lot.

I'm looking for relatively passive strategies because my day job as a tech consultant (which I love) keeps me pretty busy.

There is software available, but if you are even remotely tech savvy, you can automate these systems with free tools. 

The remediation company will not give an absolute move out recommendation, because they refer to a third party company for environmental assessment (minimum 300-1200 not covered by insurance), but the tech has indicated it would be a good idea for them to move out for 5-7 days.  

Many young tech workers need flexibility and mobility.

There are some really great parts of Baltimore and some wonderful things happening in the way of medical tech growth.
