My sister and brother-in-law own a cryptoexchange and they always tell people to only "invest what they are willing to lose", so that's always been my approach.

This approach seemed ideal given my demanding schedule.

As we approach slow months I manually adjust my pricing to try and always stay just below the booked property line.

I assume you could take a similar approach with Redfin, Realtor etc etc.There are STR sites like Rabbu that present deals regularly but not sure if these are sold furnished. 

Your only problem now is houses are approaching 220k-250k price point, at least in my area.
