I was wondering if it was possible to become a successful real estate developer in smaller markets like mine and the surrounding areas versus being in a major metropolitan city.

It is surrounded by a cabinet shop on the left side, a couple commercial buildings in the back alley that are used primarily as storage for various businesses and a bar on the right side.

Hello all, I am looking to invest in the multifamily space in Atlanta or surrounding area.

We scout properties online, offline in and outside the MLS (there are some good deals that can be found here).We are specializing in Tucson and the surrounding, but we can provide good leads in other areas as well.

But I started steaming every square millimeter of my bed and the surrounding area, many times.

I am new to BiggerPockets but have been looking to get into real estate investing here in Bend and surrounding area.

In lieu of investing in Atown where the market is jam-packed would it make more sense for a first timer like me to consider looking in the surrounding area for a duplex or triplex?

Outdated plumbing, knob & tube, asbestos, mold, wet basement, deteriorated roof and exterior siding and trim, functional obsolescence, etc.I also look at the surrounding area.
