The BP money podcast is a great way to hear some inspiring stories and get some ideas if you're feeling discouraged.

This is a step that is genuine and true but many people don't want to make themselves look like a newbie.

Your siblings can help drive for dollar etc if you are hoping to inspire them...and can convince them. :-).

I've found that almost everyone I have met in the community is extremely helpful towards as long as you are genuinely trying to learn. 

I am inspired.   

Not only are they advertising a property they do not own, in violation of the statute, they are offering for sale an "interest" in real estate... see 475.01.Wholesaling, the way it was initially raised in this thread by the poster which inspired my initial comment (a non-licensee putting a property under contract and then assigning that interest for a fee), is the definition of unlicensed brokerage in FL.
