Prioritize your financial stability.

That may not apply to you, as a financial professional, but I thought I would share the story.Obiously you could re-lever your portfolio to bring the ROE back up, but then you have to place those borrowed funds somewhere that nets a high enough return that the portfolio is ahead, given the drag of the interest and any transaction fees.    

Account ClosedI recommend that have a consultation with your tax accountant and/or financial advisor on ways to reduce your taxes. 

You NEVER want to put yourself in situation where you feel you have to sell.  

Has anyone else been through a situation like this?

I think it would be financial suicide to give up a 500k a year job that you know how to do and is secure to launch into thinking your going to replace it with rental income.. unless your sitting on 5 mil plus in  cash with no debt.

I wanted to share my situation and get some advice.I currently own an apartment in a highly developing area in Guaynabo, PR.

My end game is to show you a path to financial independence, whether that be at 45 yrs old or 70 yr old.
