Seeking Advice on Renting Out My Apartment

Edgardo Pérez
Posted

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well! I wanted to share my situation and get some advice.

I currently own an apartment in a highly developing area in Guaynabo, PR. It’s a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit that I’ve been living in for the past two years. My goal is to rent it out to start generating some cash flow.

I’m planning to remodel the kitchen soon, and once that’s done, I’d like to move out to make the apartment available for renters. However, I don’t yet have the funds for a down payment on another house, and I’m trying to figure out the best option for where to live while I rent the apartment.

Do you have any recommendations for managing this transition or tips on finding a temporary place to stay? I’d also appreciate any general advice on renting out a property.

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Edgardo
