I would put in LVP stairs due to durability and cost and not put any anti-slip tape on them.

Satin or flat do hide imperfections better, but do not seem to clean up as well.I absolutely loved oil based enamel, it has incredible durability, but the new latex paints they make nowadays are wonderful and I sometimes get 15 to 20 years from them on exterior uses and cleanup is wonderful.

Speaking from experience here haha-Look for properties that are made with durable materials that can withstand wear and tear from guests who are likely not going to be as gentle as you would be yourself.
