Consider all these things as you start to develop your plan for using your VA Loan...would hate for you to start off down that path only to be disappointed later on.

I have seen on dozens and dozens of occasions where someone goes to a local attorney who may have done a handful of such arrangements and they are hugely disappointed and then end up coming to us for help.  

Even rookie agents know to tell their clients to detach themselves emotionally from the transaction or they will drive themselves crazy and surely end up disappointed.

@Joy Nazario I grew up in Saint Louis MO just bought another rental there and my contractor does a good job I’ve used him a few times and have never been disappointed in the work he does.

Also don't be disappointed if you're not able to pull your entire initial downpayment out.

Unfortunately the Noteworthy Newsletter is no longer a good company to deal with.Apparently after Clint Hinman (the last editor) left, Jack Sternberg has run it into the ground.They no longer publish their newsletter, and orders taken from their website for educational material go unfulfilled.Even more disappointing is that the former contributors, such as Clint Hinman and Lorelei Stevens, have simply responded to my questions with "I don't deal with them anymore."
