Many run their own business and will devote a set amount of hours per week to clean up your books. 

Do you have the time to devote to it?

I quit my job and going full time with my handyman business since my last post  and  am trying to devote more time to REI.

People do it and it's successful, but you should be ready to devote a ton of resources and time to it if managing this yourself.

I'd do it again if I had the same circumstances.However, if you have more than one project going on or are otherwise busy and cannot devote the time to focus on selling your home then I'd list with a Broker and develop that relationship. 

It really depends on how you want to invest, where you want to invest, and how much time you want to devote to building your RE business. 

When I get to a point where I have more time available to devote to real estate to continue building bigger and better teams across multiple markets, then I can start doing more exploration.

Just from a time/money standpoint, it doesn't make sense to devote all your time and energy to a small commission check.

What amount of capital are you planning to devote to this endeavor?
