Now, there are some additional legal protections or anonymity in certain states (DE or WY), but we don’t need the extra protections (and we’d have to register the out-of-state LLC in the state they’re located anyway which is a similar process to establishing an LLC anyway).

I think the question you need to ask yourself is what is your exit strategy , what is your hold time and how are you planning to keep the asset protected meaning in an LLC for anonymity, multiple owners, do you plan on getting umbrella policy ?

I've always just held my property in my name and easily discovered LLCs, but on my to-do list now is how to get them into an anonymous ownership entity without upsetting my mortgage companies or insurance company.
