Hi BP Community,I am new to the Detroit MI market area and will like to buy a Single-Family Home (SFH) as a long distant investor.

Knowledge of the entire business will help you conquer challenges and better understand how some think or why they took a certain position.Then, some day in the distant future, a person entering the business will approach you asking for a job and the opportunity to learn the business.

Or maybe become competent in that area in the distant future.

I am a long distant investor who is currently in the military and even though I am the one purchasing this home, my father is a "silent partner" in this deal with me.

It doesn't yet affect the distant neighborhoods in the city, but I think most locals have an honest belief that it eventually will.

@Johnsy DSouza you can search the site for "long distant partners" "Remote partners" etc and read the blogs and threads to get ideas you can do that well. 

While in the not to distant past prices were rising fast and inventory was tight enough that people were getting screwed by not going in super strong.
