There are a huge number of dishonest (and downright criminal) people in real estate and I believe that most of them started down that path by making small, seemingly insignificant compromises at first.

Being a RE investor doesn't mean you have to do anything dishonest--it just means you have to do things smart~!

I don't want to pay the full asking amount on this recent job because I know his charges are dishonest and severely inflated. 

I have no intention to trick any sellers or to be dishonest with them.  

Technically, you should have to do that since all inspectors are required to be licensed in the state of IN, but that doesn't stop some from being dishonest.
