I'm not so sure about your contract notion, however, as the section I mentioned in the Act very clearly states in the definition of trade: “ 'trade' includes a disposition or acquisition of or transaction in real estate by sale, purchase, agreement for purchase and sale, exchange, option, lease, rental or otherwise".

You'll read story after story on here of tenants that a LL may have a pre-conceived notions about.

This notion of house hack every 1-2 years with 3-5% down is hot garbage that people regurgitate on here.

RentRedi either has no notion of separate portfolios or does not understand that I want to assign cash in/out to specific units or just to a property or to a  portfolio.

There's a notion out there that renting is "throwing your money away".

Transportation costs can easily take the feasibly possible notion of living in Cypress on a housing voucher to impractical at best or financially detrimental at worst due to the lack of public transportation available.

Wells Fargo, Cross Country etc...The notion that you need a small local lender to get a loan pushed through is way overhyped.
