So I've spent the last several months soaking up information, networking, and working with an agent to purchase a property (which is still in process but we're getting close).

I am a newbie to BP and have been hanging out for a few months just trying to soak it all up.  

To me, that means that now is a great time to start planting seeds that you'll be able to harvest in the spring / summer months right around the corner.Hang in there and keep at it!

At the time, I was not focused on expanding my portfolio but have recently changed gears and have invested into another with a partner of mine who encouraged me to check out Bigger Pockets.I have been quietly browsing the forums and soaking up the lessons learned.

Plus Home Depot has great prices on their Pro Pack bundles of the stuff.One word of caution though, be careful about using MDF on any hard surface flooring that is likely to be exposed to water (i.e. bathrooms) or mopped regularly (i.e. kitchens) as they can soak up water and get a little swollen/deformed. 

The (formerly) nice wooden floors were soaked with cat urine and the place smelled exactly as you would expect it to. 

I've been haunting the forums for some time, soaking up info like it's going out of style, and figured it's about time I said hello and thank you for everything I've learned so far.This is really an amazing website, there is so much to learn!

Depending on how much seed money you have, it may not make sense ... or even be possible.

I may start looking for houses to flip and then maybe I can wholesale a deal or 2 along the way to give me some seed money.I am not sure what else I was supposed to include in this introduction.
