Putting together a solid team will reduce risks and expedite your investing process.Establish Specific Goals: Whether your goal is to increase your wealth through real estate, attain financial independence, or generate passive income, clearly define your investing objectives.

For certain objectives a larger team might work better, for other objectives two person team is going to be the better choice.

Get involved in whatever organizations interest you in your target market and let people know what you do.

Now figure out which REI strategy will meet that objective.  

But I think that advice is sound for a lot of people who are looking at shiny objects.
