Another question that I haven't yet heard the answer to: Do local governments ever run out of HCV funds? 

We have an LLC that holds real estate but have run into issues refinancing through the LLC when family is renting or ultimately living in the property so I’m also not sure if this should go through the LLC or be a personal purchase?

Of course, if the ultimate plan is to run it as an STR, then it has to be analyzed through that lens.

Syndicates that used lower leverage points and have far-out maturities (such as 2029 or later) are likely to survive as long as they don't run out of cash to maintain the assets for longer-than-planned hold times.
