Help with Setting Up Google My Business for Out-of-State Investing

Sergey Marshak
Posted

I’m an out-of-state investor working on building my online presence, and I’m currently running into an issue with setting up my Google My Business (GMB) account. I want to create a GMB profile for a market I invest in, but I don’t have a physical office address in that state.

I’ve been looking into virtual address services like iPostal1, but I’m concerned it won’t be approved by Google since they seem to have strict rules about virtual or P.O. box-style addresses. Has anyone here successfully used iPostal1 or a similar service for their GMB?

If not, are there any other solutions you’d recommend? I’m trying to make sure my business appears legitimate and trustworthy to local sellers, but I also want to avoid violating Google’s guidelines and risk having the account suspended.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s faced this issue or has creative ideas for solving it!

Thanks in advance!
