We had a common door bell on a 5 plex, next to mail box was push once unit one, push 2 times unit 2, 3 for 3 ...ect.. the buzzer was in main hall and served the purpose.. otherwise they pounded on the main door and the first floor units were disturbed..Not perfect but it worked.  

I do appreciate the sellers trying to make this work and from their perspective it is probably best interest to not disturb the tenants or get them angry.

There was a fairly large disturbance to their quality of life during the completion of the job. 

I dread to think about how long must they have been doing the stakeout or disturbing the tenants, waiting for me.

They had guys changing the meters around here that went to a two week class, and they had no clue.Pretty easy to lose a leg in an old meter socket that has been disturbed.

The real damage from lead typically comes from renovation dust when it's disturbed.

They would insure if you lived in it with K&T but not if it was an investment.Overall K&T is safe if Not disturbed and not surrounded by insulation.

"Encapsulated", meaning in walls and ceilings, is fine when not disturbed. 

There is no indication of any settling or disturbance in any of the floors, walls, windows, doors, or roof.
