I somewhat understand why the cities are trying to regular airbnb's out completely.

Another option is to split the cost based on the number of occupants in each unit but this also means you'll need to adjust the charges as tenants move in/out, so it requires more work and I wouldn't recommend it.

Legal or not if you put the wrong tenants inn your property with out proper (VETTING) it's your fault and if your real estate agent agent puts in a bad tenant it's also your fault.

Did anyone ever figure this out?  

One middling program I got into, I later learned the founder was trying to get out of managing real estate because "it was hard" so he decided to teach real estate investing instead. 

Sad reality is I'll probably own a few rentals before ever moving out.

Look for ways to make the home stand out - unique theming, advantageous location in the resort near the clubhouse, or with a view.
