Could someone comment on petscreening if it is legal (in California) to ask for a pet screening report for an alleged ESA? 

The appraiser made no comment about it as an issue, and it is unlikely that the underwriter would catch something that small either.

In general, their public comments have sounded a bit more dovish.

A couple tangential comments that I learned while working in retail (underwriting deals, operating deals, financing deals and leasing deals):Access and visibility is key for most retailers.  

The comment you made tells me you are unwilling to provide that, yet you still took time out of your day to express yourself.
