As for a market, I'd suggest first considering markets where you already travel to and/or have family/friends that live there.

I am also a recent rent redi user, I dont hate it, but at BPCON24 , i met with hemline and their software looked really good to me.I set up a call with them this week so use their demo, and their AI for the maintenance was very helpful.I don't mind rent redi though, I met many people at the conference, stessa was a one pf the populer ones.

You have to build a foundation of trust through your past clients, your social media presence, and your honesty and ability to educate.The problem with the agents who are here with you guys on BP is that there is nothing to say they are really investor-friendly agents.

If you're just holding a single property, many start with online services like LegalZoom or IncFile, which are affordable and user-friendly.
