Amana / Roper washers and dryers are work horses and I've had good luck with them in the units I have them in (reviews online speak for themselves).

Again, you can't fix stupid but you can muffle the noise with duct tape.After riding this horse for 20 years, and near the exit of my journey, I guess I am just working twice as hard not to lose what I worked so hard for.
