(look at how much crap I have had to write already about this WL IUL stuff) and I haven't even scratched the surface .lets take a IUL or WL 12k year premiumdepending on age sex health etc etc.the 12k is broken down into 2 major parts (BASE) premium and "excess" premiumtake 40 yr old male base may be $3000 of which the agent will get (70%-100% , mostly like 95%) as a 1st year and 1st year only commissionthe other $9000 of the 12k premium is excess and the agent will typically recv only 1%- 3 or maybe 4% tops (diff carriers pay diff comm.) so less say 3% thats what $270 bucks?!?
