I've learned and have grown, this gig is not for the weak. 

The second investment property we ever bought came from a connection we met through BiggerPockets and that was years ago before it has grown into what it is today.

But especially in ODC's case as they have so much going on and have grown so quickly that who's in charge of what exactly isn't always clear and systems/quality control not always well established.

The key is to invest in the best markets in the US - best meaning growing (not already grown).
