I'm normally not one that advocates trigger-happy decisions, but IMO this kind of investing needs solid boots on the ground, and you're out of town.

What I didn't realize is that not only is this taxed as ordinary income (I knew that part), but it also triggers SELF-EMPLOYMENT taxes as well. 

Charging wholesalers $125 for each violation could be seen as too harsh, especially since some may unknowingly break the rules or make honest mistakes.

And an Agent/GC will only run around so much without you pulling the trigger.
