So I basically squashed it and don't really remember what all was said but it wasn't heated in the least.

Now, I'll have to remind our tenants what we agreed upon and print it out so there's a constant reminder.Also, I'll propose the cleaning service and personal shelving, even though I still think they should just squash it.If things get worse then I'll go the non-renewal route.

My previous limiting beliefs of needing “20% down conventional” and “Someday down the line I’ll invest in real estate when I have a lot more money” were quickly squashed after realizing the power of low down payment loans and owner occupancy!

the best you can do is find like minded people and talk to them about it, and just talk to those who understand and dont squash your dreams.

I have this gut feeling that a bright, spacious one-bedroom would be worth more than chopping it in half to two self-contained units, or even as a roomy one-bedroom vs. a squashed two-bedroom -- downtown houses are usually only like 13~20 ft frontage to begin with. 

The hotel industry is powerful here in Florida and it has squashed "AirBnb" in many vacation markets leaving investors with mediocre returns and a lot of vacancy.
