When I mentioned it to a code enforcer officer who I know well now through dealings he gave me some more tid bits (its banked owned now, and has not moved along in the process) - perfect striking opportunity for a discounted deal.

The shame is that few gurus or authors do anything to fully explain something but rather only give the tid bits that are obviously made to generate sales.

bank teller slid box to collect rent and bullet proof glass  razor wire around the parking area.At the properties we were funding and they were rehabbing is where I learned a ton.. this company had retired Police officers at most jobs checking in the subs you worked on the property you had to show ID and sign in.. ( I asked him why and his answer was a large amount of the theft in those days was workers coming back at night and stealing) so he said having them check in really cut down on it.. the other tid bit was the first thing they would do is paint the copper pipes Grey .. reason he said is if the copper thieves come in they will think its galvanized and leave it be.
