Another option is a retired foreign couple that has sold their apartment or house in an upscale market in the US or UK and is now looking to live smaller and retire in a sun-soaked yet major city in Spain. 

I am a newbie but eager to learn everything I can soak in about real estate and begin my real estate investing journey.

Or it may be surface water flowing from another lot, or surface water piling up from rain and not soaking into the soil, which may be some type of backfill they had dumped in at some point during the construction process to grade the lot higher than it was when they bought it.

As a newbie, I aggressively  soaked up as much knowledge as I could and the information was nowhere near as available as it is now.

I was thinking of becoming a signing agent as a way to dip my toes into the real estate waters while I continue to soak up as much knowledge as I can.

I've been soaking up all the knowledge I can from books, podcasts, and the incredible resources here on BiggerPockets.

You can find tons of info on different investment strategies on this forum, don't hesitate to ask questions and soak up the knowledge.
