Would your parents be interested in partnering on a duplex where you live in one side with a roommate and manage the other side rental? 

I remember working with a friend who inherited his aunt’s home.. he got so caught up in the emotional side of it that he forgot the nuts and bolts..like having a good plan for the renovation budget and timeline.

On the rental property side we will go through another round of capex improvements, mostly driveways and roofs.
