Their entire business plan is wait a few days to come out, charge  deductible, go back to the office to order a part or two that will come in a day or two.

(I don't have $10k liquid, are there other options or do I just need to save-up for a few months?)

A while back, a friend of mine stumbled onto a Virginia closing cost assistance program that wasn’t widely advertised..ended up saving $5K just by asking the right questions.

Save the difference and supplement with other savings from a regular job.

That sounds like a great plan!

There’s definitely a place for both, and I don’t blame anyone for wanting to save a few hundred bucks if all they have is a W-2 with no plans to invest or start a business.But let’s be real—life isn’t that simple.
