Todd Michaels Getting off an FHA loan on an investment property condo with 8.5% in reserve

There is about 10% equity in the FHA backed loan on the condo, and we had planned to pay off another 10% of the loan value to get to 20% equity for the refinance.Now, to buy a new place we plan to use FHA as 5% down for a multi-unit would be no problem with our cash savings, but 20% down for a conventional loan isn't happening with our wedding 5 months away, and the honey moon after.

I lived in for about a year and then decided to rent it out.I was fortunate to have very good tenants who took excellent care of the house.After about a year, I sold the house and was able to use the profit to pay for a fantastic three week honeymoon and invest in our first home together.
