As far as food goes, kind of a low hanging fruit, so I won't get into it, but the Portuguese food in the Ironbound is awesome, and the Portuguese festival in the summer is great, but I'm not sure what the status of it is these past few years.

I too lived in Florida; Valrico, FL just east of Tampa but before the Strawberry Festival in Plant City, FL.  

Craft Beer Festival is in Boston at the Seaport World Trade Center this weekend. 600 different beers.You'll have trouble getting home 8-0I'm passing this year;-(

STR units provide competition to hotels, especially during peak seasons/festivals/major events, which redistributes profits from hotel stakeholders (who are often not local) to locals.

For example, in the autumn I will promote our fall colours and events around town like the Bala Cranberry Festival, etc.

Fully booked during 3 peak seasons:  the Cherry blosom season (from mid March to May),  July and August for Gion Matsuri festival, November and December for the fall foliage.

I know both @James Wachob and @Chris Clothier are hosting investor weekend events during our big Memphis in May BBQ festival.  

Loreal spends her free time cheering for the Bulls at the United Center, trying out trendy, new restaurants or checking out neighborhood festivals.

The city of Breckenridge has decided they are going to do something to bring in summer tourists, and plan lots of festivals and weekend celebrations during the off-peak months of summer.
