iv had my water heater and furnace and carpet in lounge stolen and the person who helped my buy it had the property on his corporate policy and said ezxcess was $2500, so not worth claiming, so i have to pick up the bill, just sorted the carpet goes in tomorrow, but dont want to put heater in or furnace yet as it could get stolen again, i did think about bars on windows but go told it wouldnt pass the HUD assesment?

I bought the book (Secrets of The Millionaire Mind) a couple of years ago by chance in an airport transit lounge and loved it, however like the Kiyosaki Books it pitches a lot to join ongoing seminars, which I am skeptical on.

I do sometimes wonder if any of them ever make it.Whenever anyone figures out how to make tons of money with no effort and no investment, let me know, because I am all over it.I could spend some time lounging by the pool, under the palm trees, doing nothing but occassionally checking my bank balance on the laptop.

Brian,Yeah I don't buy in my area, too expensive, I have 2 rentals in Austin cos' I thought Austin was both good for cash flown and a strong univesity white collar city.

I've not been unreasonable and offered the price of the lawn that my dog damaged, but they are still asking for damages that are about 5 x more than I should be charged.Anyway question:on my lease it's ticked on the lease that the tenant is responsible for landscaping, lawn, shrubs etc...but the added addendum states...that we pay the owner $80 a month for landscaping direct to the landlords.I have emails to prove that all garden maintenance was covered throughout our time leasing (cos I complained and number of times about the grass not being cut/trees looking a mess etc)..
