Initially I thought it would be an additional revenue source; however, poking around I found that the owner sold a perpetual easement to the billboard company.The easement is written fairly broadly, and even contains language allowing the addition of antennas and other telecommunication devices.Two questions came to mind.

However, if you have a killer company name, I'd look into locking up that web domain, and business cards are a must, and a facebook page for the company to get your friends' antenna perked up.

You have to have your antenna up and be in the right place.

Get a commercial modem and high quality router, have someone program it to toggle the amount of bandwidth per user so as to avoid one user bogging everything down, put up unidirectional antennas that point at strategically placed repeaters around your property, and your all set.

It's cause the one tree in Amarillo is too short to be a good antenna :)  Spent a little time speeding through there myself!

If he's raising your antennae, move in.It's your property and your choice.  

Some tenants may use antennas and move to the best reception.

On the other hand, 60+-year-old tenant, in Pawtucket, RI on a fixed income with a proven history of paying rent on time, easy on the property...my low C-class landlord antennae prick up at that.Free economics and Adam Smith aside, that sounds like that special kind of poor yet STABLE someone you can put into a C-class living situation who will stay where she's put for a long, long, long time, and that's one of the main ways you make money in C-class, minimizing turnover and taking advantage of stability in an ocean of instability.Investigate Section 8.
