VG when you talk about NOTE FUNDS are you talking about Note Funds that buy or originate notes secured by real Estate or are there other funds that do the same model of raising money on unsecured Notes ?

Do you stay at the sketchy looking log cabin for 300/night or do you go for the super well done cabin with a pool table, sauna and hot tub for 450/night - oh and they have a ton of reviews and listed as a super host.if you want to have steady cash flow and steady returns to INVEST into real estate then ditch the idea of MTR and STR and get a LTR in a decent areaIf you want to own a business than go for the STR or MTR model.

Unsure about STR regulations in Charleston but I would advise you to search "arbitrage" on this forum and read up on the hundreds of pros and cons responses here before diving in to any market using the arbitrage model.

It is somewhat complex to try to explain on a forum, but at a high level, you (aka GP) and your family member (aka LP) would agree on how much the 2 of you would put in for the amount of equity needed (usually expressed as a %).
