This website is awesome and I got a lot of information from just reading the posts of all the members here.I finally decided Charlotte NC would be the place, though I personally live btw the Israel - NY line these days…I’m looking to start ASAP, as i’ll be over in Charlotte by the end of the month.

I am sorry to hear about your story and i believe it is a nightmare.I am a foreign investor (i live in Israel) and have my real estate business running in the states.At the beginning i was advised by friends to use certain brokers and contractors which i found out are really bad (lost more than 20K for thier mistakes) instead of giving up i decided to do my own due diligence and set a team of experts (people i interviewed and searched).Today i have a great and very experience team and we are doing great.

its for a investment. a property for a hotel in Uman, a citi that got very busy the last 20 years, with ortodox jews from usa, israel, & europe, & the busyist time is sep. that the avr. for a 2-3 star hotel "bed" (they gave alsa double beds becuose of the over fluinse) is $100 a night, I have their a bargein offer to got shares in a hotel who need to buy more land to grow. so I look for advice from people that have already experience in investing in ukraine. 

When I buy an investment property in Israel, there are heavy purchase and capital gains taxes, meant to discourage real estate investment, as part of a misguided effort to bring down housing costs.
