Combine a gift card you bought for 90% of face value with a 10% off coupon you bought for a buck and you can get pretty good deals.I always keep at least 4 or 5 of the 10% off coupons in my wallet at all times.

The bank will spend a decade building that "relationship," and then they'll flush it -- instantly.For the bank, a relationship means that we have it all...deposits, loans, credit cards, merchant services, your personal mortgage, your investment accounts (what we called "share of wallet")...the whole shootin' match, and while increased profitability is one reason, the other is nothing more than that they can mess something up and still be less likely to lose the customer.

Here's my plan for finding a renter -- Go to a hardware store and buy a bunch of "For Rent" signs, put my cell phone # on them and place them around the neighborhood.- Place an advert on Craigs List.- Charge a $25 application fee to run a credit report.- Call their employer and confirm employment.- Call previous land lords.Getting a good renter is probably the best thing that I can do going forward, so any suggestions from the group on how to find then then screen them would be great appreciated.
