To be honest, the NOVA area seems a bit on the expensive side for starting up but I am definitely looking to network, learn and grow and hopefully make a good passive income till I can switch over to full time rehabbing.

Like @Roger Lin said the best way to learn is through others and NOVA, D.C. and Maryland have some great REIA's to meet people.

The HOAs and covenants are either non existent in a lot of areas, or fairly Laxed compared to NOVA.  

Purchased majority of my properties in nova.

They are non existent in NoVa.

I would love to meet up with some other MD'ers as well.There are a lot of people from the Maryland, DC and NoVa areas on this board.

There are a ton of members from DC/NOVA so you'll have fun.There are certainly people who are still doing flips in our area but quality deals aren't coming around as often as they were a couple of years ago.  

One of our favourites for basement applications is made by Polytech Products out of Baddeck, Nova Scotia.

If Nova chemicals does go through with the expansion of a second  polyethylene plant the opportunities for executive rentals will be outstanding.
