Is there any flat fee lawyer in Chicago that can help me file this?

Agent just alerted me to the new Maryland HB693 bill that went into effect Oct. 1 2024 limiting security deposits to 1 months rent.

As of today, she still hasn’t made any payment and owes around $5kI have contacted a few companies that a lawyer provided me, but they all only deal with major portfolios.  

The rule I use is to double the money after five years in case you need to sell.Meaning, with your initial investment of 132k (down payment plus initial closing costs), and considering an additional 5% closing fee of the home’s value when you sell (roughly another 30k for agent and lawyer fees), your total upfront cost plus closing on sale would be around 162k.

Are there general rules that apply about this, or is this a lawyer question?

Am I **** out of luck here or can I get a lawyer involved? 

(Click on the image snippet above to enlarge it and see it more clearly) I doubt they signed an exclusive it's procuring cause  @Robert Ellis, since the NAR settlement went into effect its required to sign a buyer agency agreement prior to showing a property now.

At least more cost effective than SFH.
