God bless them, it’s rough to have people treat me like that.

But I have more than once kept deposits from wholesalers that simply tried to tie my property up and then couldn't move it.You are welcome to do any due diligence before you put the property under contract.

If you were not notified, and they simply stopped.....its time to start digging to make sure something is amiss. 

I'd simply tell them that when the temperature on the thermostat is changed, it takes time to reach that temp. 

. - You no longer simply apply for a deed after 3 years and get it after the county attempts to find the owners.

I would respond by making the observation that it is not simply them "telling [their clients] what they charge."

Either share in profits, but if you simply don't want a second "cook in the kitchen" finding a passive partner may help.  

Per the listing agent, the additions/changes were way before this seller and he simply just spruced it up.

Entering into a equity partnership is a better strategy than simply giving the money for a 10 to 15% return.

Your accountant simply takes that property off of your Schedule E and you move on.
