Following this, I sought the expertise of a basement/drain specialist.Findings:They utilized cameras and detected obstructions at two locations: one in the basement and another in the driveway.Their diagnosis suggests a broken clay tile pipe and have quoted an estimate of $11,000 for excavation and repair.Concerns:Unfortunately, they did not provide any video footage of their findings.

@Jean Bolger when I had my HML shop I had an Accurant account and they had a mortgage fraud detection module.. you can't believe those folks that made loan requests form me and I ran them through that and they were not what they represented... the module had a speedometer green was good yellow needed more verification and RED was bad .. public records indicated all sorts of issues.

Would it be best to have the plumber update the line so the leak detection company can find the leak and possibly do a repair which is expected to be around $6k+ depending on the location of the leak or have the do a complete water service where they bore in a new line and update the valves which is around $13k?
