Will buying a new manufactured home (Trailer/Mobile Home) and placing it on a foundation make a good rental property?

Pueblo holds the Colorado State Fair, has the Colorado State University - Pueblo, employs defense, steel manufacturing and agricultural businesses. 

I am considering wholesaling mobile/manufactured homes as an additional niche.

Mobile home manufacturers have hired some great designers in recent years and you will get some great ideas (which you can copy verbatim so take some color chips from the hardware store with you to match).

Also Nashville has a diversified job sector as well (tech, auto, tourism, logistics, healthcare, entertainment, manufacturing, etc.) 

Jerry, so when a manufactured home is damaged and the insurance company deems it a "total loss" the home gets a "salvaged" status.

There are safeguards so people don't cherry pick their own mortgage and figure out a way to knock off some principle and manufacture their own discount.

I've installed 3 different laminate floors from various manufacturers and I've always used the budget underlayment.  

It's on a small lake and most regular manufactured homes in the area similar style are renting for about $850 with no lake. 

I worked as a Project Manager for a national builder in the Permian Basin and even as the #1 home builder in the nation we had nothing but difficulties finding, utilizing, and keeping trade labor not to mention out of state (or at least out of the area) suppliers and manufacturers.
