Any investment like stocks, real estate, currency all has the risk factor involved. 

There are certainly deals, but the South African political situation is uncertain, access to gearing is limited, and the currency (Rand) is extremely volatile.John

:) I did not buy any rentals in US, I'm using that capital for marketing and fix and flip business.Although, another tip you should keep in mind if you plan on exchanging USD to EUR is that currency rate is changing every day because of the political situation in the world.

With all of the hype and growth the bitcoin has received lately, I am surprised that major real estate players haven't discovered a way to funnel crypto currency into real estate investment deals.

Now lending money was a breeze no tax withholding for that I did some HML there .. and with the currency arbitrage and rates it was a killer deal.. although again I learned you just don't foreclose in CA for non payment.. its not like the US..

Money shouldn't sit idle, it's only a currency.

Is anyone on BP doing Ethereum Mining? Is there anything you could share? How do you think it compares to real estate?

I am curious what the retainment rate is for new investors as many who get involved in notes realize it’s a lot of work and it is not passive.My hope is many jump to something else like crypto currency and gamble on Blockchain.
