I don't know but I want someone's opinion because I feel like a crazy person.I was thinking what if I found a property that I wanted to wholesale and I got it under contract with the seller but then it turns out the seller isn't the owner of the house or has no affiliation with the house at all.

I'm fairly new to BP but I believe the posting rules do not allow for anything that appears as a solicitation (although I am not an affiliate of the company).  

Actually if I could afford it I would knock 50$ off their rent, I have great respect for anyone law enforcement affiliated being a former military cop myself I know how hard of a job they have .

If they don't have something in-house they may be able to refer you to one of their affiliate partners for what you need.

In the mind of a potential customer, especially in a competitive sales environment, having a license gives you an automatic "+1"Unlimited Affiliate Assistance.  

In my area, the water company is an affiliate representative for some third party insurance product that covers water lines and sewer lines on your property; you might have something similar available there. 

Given the complexity of navigating the new laws portals have their hands full adhering with The '40 Act, compliance with 506(c), RIA registration, broker-dealer affiliation for OFAC, AML, Patriot Act, etc.  

The investments are quite passive, but be sure there is really solid property management in place as part of (or less desirably affiliated with) the company selling the property.
