@Alex Forest nice plots.Since fed is printing money like crazy, I thought that using gold to replace US dollar to measure housing price makes more sense and can provide us a more realistic view of how expansive it is.My current feeling is that the price is relatively low, and I might keep buying for a while. if the real estate price normalized by gold increases above 700, I will sell.

I saw that sometimes there is a pretty big recording tax, but it says in their fine print that they cover recording, but I'm not sure if that's the tax or not.

Watch out for fine print that requires an additional fee at closing or takes a portion of commission from the buyer agent - this is a big red flag.Make sure you are able to make changes to the listing after it has been posted for a nominal fee.

I have read as much of the fine print as I can find and other than using a big bank, it doesn't seem like a horrible deal.
